هدفت الدِّراسة تّعرف دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي في مجالات (المعلم، والطالب، والمناهج وطرق التّدريس، والبيئة المدرسية)، ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف الدِّراسة تم تطوير استبانة وزعت على عينة تكونت من (420) معلماً ومعلمة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة من خلال استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتوصلت الدِّراسة إلى أن دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي من وجهة نظر المعلمين جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وجاء دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي من وجهة نظر المعلمين عند مجالات المعلم والطالب والبيئة المدرسية متوسطاً، في حين جاء دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي من وجهة نظر المعلمين عند مجال المناهج وطرق التّدريس مرتفعاً، كما توصلت الدِّراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لتقديرات عينة الدِّراسة على مجالات دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي تعزى لمتغير الجنس وجاءت الفروق لصالح المعلمين الذكور، وتوصلت الدِّراسة كذلك إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لتقديرات عينة الدِّراسة على مجالات دور مديري المدارس المتوسطة في دولة الكويت في تفعيل مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي تعزى لمتغيري المؤهل العلمي وسنوات الخبرة.
وفي ضوء النتائج التّي تم التّوصل إليها أوصى الباحث بمجموعة من التّوصيات أهمها قيام وزارة التّربية بدولة الكويت بعقد دورات لنشر ثقافة استخدام المؤشرات التّعليمية في تقويم مشروع تحسين الأداء المدرسي لتطوير العملية التّعليمية، وتعزيز دور مدير المدّرسة القيادي والتّربوي بإعطائه مزيداً من الصلاحيات التّي تتناسب مع حجم المسؤوليات والواجبات المطلوبة منه للاضطلاع بأعبائها

The study was identify the role of intermediate school principals in the State of Kuwait in activate the School performance improvement project in the fields of teacher, student, curriculum, teaching methods, and school environment. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, aquestionnaire was distributed to (420) teachers; the study found that the role of Intermediate school Principals in the State of Kuwait in Activate the school performance improvement project from the point of view of teachers came to were a medium degree. the role of Intermediate school principals in the State of Kuwait in activate the school performance improvement project in the fields of teacher, student, and school environment were medium, while the role of middle school principals in the state of Kuwait in the implementation of the project to improve the performance of schools from the point of view of teachers in the field of curriculam and methods of teaching were highly, and the study found that there were differences of statistical significance for the estimates of a sample study on the fields of the role of intermediate School Principals in the State of Kuwait in Activate the School Performance Improvement project due to gender variable. the differences were in favor of male teachers. the study also found no significant differences for the sample of the study on the the role of Intermediate School Principals in the State of Kuwait in activate the School Performance Improvement project due to the educational qualification and the years of experience.
In light of the results reached, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the Ministry of Education in Kuwait to hold courses to disseminate the culture of the use of educational indicators in the evaluation of the project to improve the performance of schools to develop the educational process and strengthen the role of the school leader leadership and education by giving more powers commensurate with the size of responsibilities and the duties required of him to carry out his duties.
