هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية على قضايا الأمن الإقليمي في الشرق الأوسط من خلال دراسة حالة المملكة العربية السعودية، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على أهداف ومحددات السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية ومراحل تطورها في الشرق الأوسط.
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحث بإتباعمنهج صنع القرار ومنهج النظم للوصول إلى نتائج الدراسة بشكل علمي وموضوعي.
حيث خلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية تطورت وتشكلت بما تقتضيه الحاجة في الشرق الأوسط، فهي تتغير باستمرار تحقيقاً للأهداف الأمريكية في المنطقة العربية وتماشياً مع الظروف العربية والشرق أوسطية المختلفة، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الهدف من السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية في المنطقة العربية وفي المملكة العربية السعودي على وجه الخصوص، نابع من إرادة الإدارة الأمريكية في فرض نفوذها وسيطرتها على المنطقة العربية، بالإضافة إلى فرض توازن أمني إقليمي في الشرق الأوسط لا يخدم إلا المصالح الأمريكية ويحقق الأمن والاستقرار للجانب الإسرائيلي، دون خدمة المصلحة الأمنية للشرق الأوسط ومصالحه المختلفة، وأخيراُ أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود أهداف للسياسة الخارجية الأمريكية في المملكة العربية السعودية تظهر من خلال تأجيج الصراع بين السعودية ودولاً إقليمية عربية وغير عربية، والعمل على منع إنهاء هذا الصراع لتبقى أمريكا حاضرة في المنطقة كراعية للأمن بين دول الإقليم الواحد وهو الهدف المعلن لسياستها الخارجية.

This study aims at identifying the impact of US foreign policy on regional security issues in the Middle East by studying the situation of Saudi Arabia, in addition to identifying the objectives and determinants of US foreign policy and its stages of development in the Middle East.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the method of decision-making and system approaches to reach the results of the study in a scientific and objective way.
The results of the study concluded that American foreign policies evolved and formed as needed in the Middle East. It is constantly changing to achieve the American objectives in the Arab region and in accordance with the different Arab and Middle Eastern conditions. The results of the study also showed that the goal of American foreign policy in the Arab region and in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia in particular, stems from the will of the US administration to impose its influence and control over the Arab region, in addition to imposing a regional security balance in the Middle East that serves only American interests and creates security and stability for the Israeli state, without compromising the security interests of the Middle East and its different interests.
Finally the results of the study showed that the objectives of the American foreign policy in Saudi Arabia are manifested by fueling the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Arab and non-Arab regional countries and working to prevent the end of this conflict so that America remains present in the region as a sponsor of security between Countries of the region and the declared goal of its foreign policy
