Adult Health Nursing

 The mission, vision, and philosophy of Adult Health Nursing Department are congruent with princes Salma Nursing Faculty. Courses taught by the department   include: Adult health Nursing (theory and clinical); Health Assessment (theory and clinical); Pathophysiology; Critical Care Nursing (theory and clinical) and Clinical Training Courses. Nursing theoretical and clinical courses offered by the department focus on health deviation of adults, including contents on acute and chronic illnesses, heath assessment, heath promotion, human responses to health concerns, nursing clinical decision making, ethical and legal considerations in nursing care. Students in the clinical courses are trained in high standard health care institutions including hospitals of the Ministry of Health, Royal Medical Services, Private hospitals and university hospitals. Besides the teaching role the department incorporates research role as major part of the faculty activities. The faculty members of the department have various research interests including infection control, patient safety, quality of life of chronic illness patients, spirituality, and emergency and disaster management
