الملخص

في ظل تنامي السياحة البيئية التي غدت تشكل عنصراً هاما في صناعة السياحة والتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية على المستوى الدولي والمحلي، فهي تمثل مورداً اقتصادياً مهماً وأساسياً للدول، وبخاصة التي تتميز بمحدودية الموارد، لذلك فإن هذه الدراسة تكتسب أهمية خاصة؛ لأنها تبحث في تأهيل أحد الوسائل الناجحة في مجال إدارة المحميات الطبيعية باستخدام نظام المعلومات الجغرافي. كما عزز أهمية هذه الدراسة أيضا تطرقها إلى أحد الأمثلة التطبيقية لاستخدام نظام المعلومات الجغرافي في إدارة وتطوير محمية الشومري سياحياً.

Abstract

In the light of the growing eco-tourism, it has become an important element in the tourism industry and economic and social development at the international level and local level, to represent an economic resource that is essential to the countries, particularly those characterized by limited resources. So, this study is of a particular importance, as it is looking for the rehabilitation of one of the means of success in the management of protected areas using geographic informantion system. It also reinforces the importance of turning on the application of the use of Geographic Information System in the management and the development of Al-Shaumary sanctuary.
