الملخص

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة تحليلية لنقوش نبطية و صفوية في مدفن عائلي من موقع دير الكهف في شمال شرق الأردن. حيث كتب النقش النبطي على هيئة شريط على الجدران الداخلية لردهة المدفن من الأعلى ؛ فيما كتبت أسماء الموتى على جدران القبور من الخارج بالخط الصفوي. وقد تميز النقش النبطي باستخدام كلمة جديدة لم ترد سابقاً في النقوش النبطية هي (م ع ر ت أ) بمعنى مغارة الدفن. تشير هذه النقوش إلى وجود صلات بين الأنباط والصفويين من خلال استخدام كلا الخطين داخل المدفن. ولذا قام هذا البحث بمناقشة ماهية هذه العلاقات والصلات بين الطرفين من خلال الشواهد الكتابية النقشية المتوافرة, ومدى هذه العلاقات من النواحي الجغرافية, والسياسية, والدينية, واللغوية, وهل هذه العلاقات ودّية سلمية, أو عدائية؟.

Abstract

This paper is an analytical study of a Nabataean ? Safaitic inscriptions from a familys burial tomb from the site of Dier El-Kahf in North East Jordan. In this tomb, the Nabataean Inscription engraved in the top of the internal walls of the burial tomb hall constitute a form of panel, whereas the names of the dead were engraved in Safaitic writings on the external walls of the graves. The Nabataean inscription is distinguished by the usage of a new word (M R T A) means burial cave, which hasnt appeared previously in the Nabataean Inscriptions. These inscriptions indicate the existence of a relationship between the Nabataeans and Safaitic via the usage of both writings inside the tomb. Accordingly, this research discusses the relationship between both Nabataean and Safaitics through the available inscribed written evidence from different aspects such as geographical, political, religious and linguistic aspects. Moreover, it shows whether this relation is friendly and peaceful or aggressive.
