 The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum at Princess Salama Faculty of Nursing has been designed by panel of academic experts in nursing. The program offers a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices that can be applied directly into the clinical field. Moreover, the academic programs offered by Princess Salma Faculty of Nursing are designed to meet the high national and international nursing education standards. Princess Salma Faculty of Nursing at Al al-Bayt University offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through two academic programs:
 

Direct Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program

The faculty of nursing offers a baccalaureate degree in nursing to qualified high school graduates after a completion of 132 credit hours. The program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and the skills needed to practice as professional nurse and as leaders and managers in a variety of health care settings. This level of education is based on knowledge and clinical competency, applied through a unique blend of critical thinking and human caring in multiple settings.
 
Program Objectives:
Prepare staff nurses who are accountable for their nursing practice, accept  responsibility for the management of nursing care and serve as advocates in variety of health care settings.
 
Enable students to synthesize knowledge through application of the nursing   process.
 
Utilize research findings to enhance clinical practice and the delivery of quality service.
 
Provide the foundation for graduate study.Foster the legal, ethical practice of nursing.

   Associates to BSN Completion Program

The RN to BSN completion program was designed to help associate nurses of two-year or 3-year nursing programs and other health related associate degrees (midwifery associate nurse, anesthesia associate degree, and other health related associates)   who are interested in earning BSN degree. The program allows the student to transfer –on maximum- 45 credit hours from his original associate program. The transferable credits vary from one associate program to another. The decision of credit transfer is based on rigorous review of the course description and objectives in the original associated program.
 
Program Objectives:
Cooperation with Jordanian health institutions for the development of their human resource.
 
Supplementing the local health care institutions with a well-trained nursing workforce.
 
Contribute to raising the level of the nursing profession in Jordan through the development of nursing staff of the associate degree.
