Steps to Complete Admission Procedures for Undergraduate Students Admitted by the Unified Coordination Unit

Logging in the University website to extract the university numbers or click here.

After accessing the site, please click on the new students program link to extract University numbers.

Printing the student data document and the bank slip containing the (university number and the required amount including hours and registration fees).

Taking the bank slip to one of the banks' branches or authorities involved in the electronic payment service "fawateercom" to pay the fees (To know the banks and authorities involved in the service press here.)

Checking at the University according to the deadline for each specialization (based on announcement) to complete the admission procedures accompanied by the money receipt and student data document in addition to the following documents:

- Original General Secondary transcript in Arabic for students who have the Jordanian General Secondary

 

-  Copy of the General Secondary transcript by the Ministry of Education for those who have the General Secondary outside Jordan

 

-  Original birth certificate or a certified copy (on which the national number is attached).

 

-   The Military Service Book for male students (where the student is delaying the service).

 

- Certified copy of the Civil Status identification card or a certified copy of the passport for non-Jordanian students.

 

-     Two recent photos (4*6) cm.

Note: It is preferable to attach (CD) that includes the previous documents (each document is separate from the other) in a (PDF) format to facilitate and speed up admission procedures.

Jordanian male students need to check at the representatives of the Military Service to postpone the service and install the postponement on computer.

Submitting the above documents with the CD to the representatives of the Admissions and Registration Department

Submitting a personal photo to the representatives of the Deanship of Student Affairs to obtain a Student's Identification Card and password.

Applying for the placement tests (Arabic, English, Computer) in Language Centre laboratories at the University on the same or next day of registration from (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) or equation of the test(s) in case the student has studied the relevant courses of the test at other universities or has ICDL certificate (To access Language Centre click here).

Key Notes:

The pre-prepared course package will be registered by the Admission and Registration Department (automatically) so that the student can view or print his/her schedule from the electronic portal. Click here to access the student portal

  

Steps to Complete Enrolment and Admission Procedures for the Diploma Program

Applications for enrolment in the Higher Diploma shall be submitted at the Department of Admission and Registration at the University headquarters in Al-Mafraq city, accompanied by all the following documents (non-refundable)

Copy of the university certificate (bachelor degree) certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Bachelor grades' transcript certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

3

Copy of the Military Service Book for Jordanian male students born in 1958 and later, or a copy of the certificate of service termination or exemption.

4

Copy of passport for non-Jordanian students certified by their country's embassy.

5

Copy of the Civil Status identification card for Jordanian students certified by the Department of Civil Status.

6

Copy of birth certificate (on which the national number is attached) certified by the Department of Civil Status.

7

Equation of a certificate accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for non-Jordanian university graduates.

8

No objection letter for the members of the Jordan Armed Forces, Public Security and Civil Defense from the competent authorities.

9

Three recent personal photos (colored) (4 * 6).

Other Notes:

1.     The applicant must have a bachelor degree or equivalent from a university recognized by Al al-Bayt University.

2.     Application forms will be obtained from the Admission and Registration Department at the University campus for a non - refundable application fee of JD15 (fifteen Jordanian Dinars).

3.     The student shall be responsible for the non-compliance of the requirements or not selecting the required specialization accurately.

4.     In case of admission of a student working in government or official institutions, Jordan Armed Forces, or any other authority requiring the student to obtain prior approval, he/she must bring a letter of no objection from the same authority to study at the University.

 

 

Steps to Complete Enrolment and Admission Procedures for the Master and Phd Program

After the student has been initially accepted (knowing this through the same site in which he/she submitted the electronic application), he/she should do the following:

Checking at the Admission and Registration Department at the University to complete the admission procedures accompanied by the following documents:

Copy of the university certificate (Bachelor degree/Master) certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The university certificate of Bachelor degree/Master certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

4

Bachelor/Master grades' transcript certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

5

Certified copy of the Diploma grades' transcript (if any).

6

Copy of the Military Service Book for Jordanian male students born in 1958 and later, or a copy of the certificate of service termination or exemption.

7

Copy of passport for non-Jordanian students certified by their country's embassy.

8

Copy of the Civil Status identification card for Jordanian students certified by the Department of Civil Status.

9

Copy of birth certificate (on which the national number is attached) certified by the Department of Civil Status.

10

Equation of a certificate accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for non-Jordanian university graduates.

Three recent personal photos (colored) (4 * 6) cm

Document proving that the study at the bachelor/master level was regular.

13

Proof of passing the English Language test (TOEFL), English Equivalency, or equivalent at the application.

Students who fulfilled the condition of foreign language (English) test for admission to the Master Program are exempted from this requirement when admitted to new Master program or PhD Program.

No objection letter for the members of the Jordan Armed Forces, Public Security and Civil Defense from the competent authorities.

16

An approval of the relevant authority (the cultural attaché or the embassy concerned) if the applicant is required to obtain prior approval of this authority (for non-Jordanian students).

The Service Card related to the Syrian community (for Syrian students).

·        Jordanian male students need to check at the representatives of the Military Service to postpone the service and install the postponement on computer.

·        Submitting the above documents with the CD to the representatives of the Admissions and Registration Department

·        Receiving the university number and course registration form

·        Paying the fee of hours and registration in the bank. To know the fees of the credit hours to know the fees of university services for all specialties.

·        At the Financial Department submitting the bank receipt and receiving :

a-     The password of the student's portal

b-    A receipt for receiving the university identity card

·        Checking at the relevant department to fill in the course registration form.

·        Checking in at the Deanship of Student Affairs to print the university identity card.

·        Returning to the Admission and Registration Department to submit the course registration form to the concerned registrar to approve the course.

Key Note:

Anyone who does not have a success score in the English Equivalency Test or equivalent, he/she can apply. If admitted, he/she will be asked to study the course of English for Graduate Studies Students as follows:

a-     Studying the English for Graduate Studies Students (6 credit hours) during the first semester of the date of admission and obtaining the required degree of success according to the candidate program for admission.

b-    If the student does not pass the English Equivalency Test and does not succeed in the Qualifying Program during the first semester of enrolment at the University, his/her admission is considered to be cancelled.

 

 

Steps to Complete Enrolment and Admission Procedures for Undergraduate Students Admitted to the Parallel Program

Students check at the Admission and Registration Department at the University when announcing the admission to the Parallel Program according to the dates specified in the announcement to fill the application form and pay the fees due.

The Admission and Registration Department shall publish the names of the students who have met the admission requirements as well as the dates of completion of admission procedures in the daily newspapers, and the University website.

Students check at the Admission and Registration Department to fill in the admitted student form and receive the admission notice letter.

Checking at the Deanship of Student Affairs to receive a student Identification Card.

4

Checking at the Admission and Registration Department on the dates specified by the Department to receive the package of courses according to the guidance plan in coordination with the colleges and institutes at the University.
