The Vocational Training Center (VTC) at AABU organized a training workshop on 13 August 2017 for 35 students at AABU. The training was one of the proposed activities in the Vocational training center for undergraduate university students and teacher in Jordan as one of the objectives of Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education in the Jordanian Universities. The training topics was according to the output of the questionnaire distributed among the students and policy makers. The training program focus on an important issues and skills that needs by students.
As part of the capacity building in the Vocational training center for undergraduate university students and teachers in Jordan (VTC project), 6 trainers from AABU and six other Jordanian partners participated in the train of the trainer program conducted at HTWK Leipzig in Leipzig, Germany in the period 11-17 March 2018.
As part of the capacity building in the Vocational Training Center for undergraduate university students and teachers in Jordan (VTC project), three trainers from the Instituto Superior de Paços de Brandão (ISPAB) from Portugal participated in the capacity building by training 70 students and instructors at AABU on 15 Nov. 2017.
On 25 of October 2017, as part of the capacity building in the Vocational Training Center (VTC) for undergraduate university students and teachers in Jordan (VTC project), four trainers from the Slovakian partner (the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra) participated capacity building by training 43 students and instructors at Al al-Bayt University (AABU).

In cooperation with the Vocational Training Center at AABU, the Consultation and Training Center arranged a Cloud Computing course for AABU students.The training was for 10 training hours in the period of 22 October 2017. The training was conducted for 30 students.
As part of the capacity building in the Vocational training center for undergraduate university students and teachers in Jordan (VTC project), trainers from AABU and six other Jordanian partners participated in the train of the trainer program conducted at Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra, Slovakia in the period 1-5 May 2017.
As part of the capacity building in the Vocational training center for undergraduate university students and teachers in Jordan (VTC project), 3 trainers from AABU and six other Jordanian partners participated in the train of the trainer program conducted in Porto, Portugal in the period 17 – 21 Apr. 2017.
On Wednesday, the 3rd of April 2018, Dr.Moayyd Shawaqfah, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Al al-Bayt University(AABU), and invited guests celebrated the opening of the Vocational Training Center of the University during a launching event in the main campus of the University.
